Though I am a certified, professional Canine Training and Behavioral Specialist; I still consider myself a forever student. I don't think I will ever stop learning about these magnificent creatures and the bond we have with them.  

My name is Cassandra Collins and I am the founder of Wise Tails Academy. 

I have been rescuing and rehoming the dogs no one wanted since I was a child with the help of my mom. Nine years ago, I adopted my dog, Bandit, who had a number of behavioral issues. Many trainers told me he needed to be euthanized and couldn’t be helped. I knew there was more I could do for him and pursued my education with Starmark Academy. I graduated at the top of my class and I was fortunate enough to receive an offer training dogs at Starmark Animal Behavior Center where I jumped right into the career that I love with Bandit by my side as my new and improved demo dog.

Since opening Wise Tails Academy in 2019 I have enjoyed focusing on running a small business that ensures each dog I train gets lots of personal attention and immersive training. For the duration of their training, client’s dogs actually live with me in my home.
